Management of proteinuria with the help of Ayurveda

Overview

Proteinuria is an abnormal condition in which the kidneys release too much protein from the urine. Proteinuria is often a sign of some underlying kidney disease because it is the kidneys that result in the slip of protein through their filters or when the kidney’s filter becomes damaged they may allow the protein to pass through them.

Normally, there is only a small portion of protein visible in the urine, but the problem arises when the amount of protein in the urine becomes high and the urine appears foamy or cloudy.

The other less common reason why the body is exhibiting protein in the urine is because of too much production of the protein.

But if the cause is an underlying kidney disease, you should immediately go for the test and take proteinuria treatment.

Are there any signs to know if I have proteinuria?

  • Kidney inflammation
  • Multiple myeloma
  • Preeclampsia in pregnant women
